Unplanned Success

When I work with seasoned teams of traders and firm owners, it is often better to have less specificity when starting a research project. This probably sounds counter intuitive. However, there is wisdom in allowing for a phase of observing research results before finding a purpose for them.

Discovering usable predictors is difficult and it may be beneficial to bake in additional possible uses for studies. If one success has additional unexpected uses then you unlock a new form of compounding available just to those willing to not pigeonhole research too early.

This is a novel way to unearth a ‘difficult-to-spot’ compounding effect, and it’s something we can offer you as an outside voice when working together.
